Supported Employment

A vocational coordinator and a team of job coaches help individuals with special needs obtain and maintain competitive employment. JFCS is an approved Supported Employment Vendor through the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, which enables the agency to offer numerous job support services for individuals with special needs. JFCS also contracts with local school districts to offer transition services between high school and career.

Situational Assessments

Evaluates an individual's job skills at community-based job sites.

Job Development

Seeks to match individuals with appropriate employment opportunities based on skills and interests.

Job Coaching

Provides employment training to assist individuals with learning the skills of a new job and meeting employer expectations. Professional coaches work with clients.

Job Sampling

Through arrangements with local school districts, JFCS offers various job sampling opportunities for students who will be transitioning from high school.
