Caring For You Gift Cards

Caring For You gift cards, which entitle the bearer to a variety of services from our Senior Services Program, are available for sale in various denominations.  These cards are a thoughtful and practical gift for anyone on the go, who is looking for convenience and help with their own daily life, or a way to ensure that an elderly spouse or parent is cared for in their own home.

Two basic options are available.  A gift card can be used to purchase Meals-on-Wheels, an assortment of kosher certified delicious and healthful dairy, meat, and vegetarian entrees, prepared by Betty The Caterer and delivered to your home or the home of whomever you choose.  The meals come frozen, sealed in microwaveable containers, and are moderately priced at $6 each.  They can be delivered to most areas in Camden, Burlington, or Gloucester counties, or picked up at the Katz JCC or Saltzman House.  Not only can these meals be a godsend to individuals who are recuperating from illnesses or are otherwise unable to cook for themselves - they are helpful to parents who want a prepared nutritious meal all ready for their family, after carpooling, soccer games, and errands. 

Caring For You gift cards can also be redeemed for a variety of in-home services for seniors who are currently or will be enrolled in our Senior Services Program.  These can be used for such services as geriatric care management (including assessments and consultations), medication monitoring, housekeeping, personal care, respite and companion care, transportation, and more.  Assessments and consultations are available at half the cost charged by most private care managers.

These cards offer a wonderful opportunity to assist your loved one who may benefit from that extra measure of support and TLC to live safely and independently in his or her own home.  The sense of security and support it can provide is priceless!  Another added benefit is that the proceeds from every purchase of a gift card embrace and support the programs and services of JFCS.
