Senior Services Program

Older Americans are leading healthier, more active lives and living longer than ever before. The JFCS Senior Services Program is designed to meet the complex needs of older adults and their families. Our experienced geriatric social workers and nurses are skilled at guiding seniors and their family members through various and individualized service options. To help them cope with the changes in their lives, the Senior Services department is organized into two programs: Senior Chai and Senior Life.

Kosher Meals-on-Wheels

The Senior Services Program offers a Kosher Meals-on-Wheels program to all interested community members in the Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester County areas. JFCS can also accommodate those with Glatt kosher needs under the supervision of Tri-County Va'ad. The program offers an assortment of delicious dairy, meat, and vegetarian entrees; heart healthy options; and clear labeling of contents - all sealed in microwaveable containers and prepared by Betty the Caterer.

The meals are priced at $6 per meal, and can be arranged for delivery or pick-up. Gift cards are also available if you wish to purchase meals for a loved one. To order meals, please call Maxine at 856-751-3343, extension 3.

Caring For You Gift Cards

Caring For You gift cards, which entitle the bearer to a variety of services from our Senior Services Program, are available for sale in various denominations.  These cards are a thoughtful and practical gift for anyone on the go, who is looking for convenience and help with their own daily life, or a way to ensure that an elderly spouse or parent is cared for in their own home.  Read more...
