Financial Assistance for Cancer Patients Program

The Cancer Emergency Support Fund is no longer accepting applications for financial assistance at this time, as funding for this program has run out.  JFCS is gearing up for the next Walk 4 Family & Friends With Cancer event on April 9, 2011, and hopes to be able to re-start the program with proceeds raised from the walk.  We are pleased to report that funds from the 2010 walk enabled us to give out almost $50,000 to over 100 clients in the past year.  We have paid electric bills, rent, mortgages, and car payments; purchased a new air conditioner, sent a child to camp, and helped many people in meaningful ways.  Please check back for updates on this program.
