Marilyn Krupnick - Dreamer level sponsor
Marilyn Krupnick is not the kind of person to sit still. Born and raised in Manhattan, she has always been a world traveler, and spent 10 years working as a volunteer in an Israeli hospital. She is the owner of Cherry Hill Volvo, formerly Cherry Hill Volkswagen, which has been in business in Cherry Hill for over 45 years. Marilyn has been making a valuable contribution to the local community for many years, and is a true philanthropist in every sense of the word.
When her husband, David, passed away in 2005, Marilyn began receiving medical services from JFCS. Nurse Judi monitors her medications and blood pressure, provides her with information and referrals, and checks on her twice a week. Marilyn says she feels secure knowing Judi is always there for her. "Marilyn is an amazing person, and she has a great attitude and sense of humor", says Judi.
To show her gratitude for Judi's dedicated and compassionate care, Marilyn made a very generous multi-year gift to JFCS, which involves a four-year commitment of funds. She dedicated half of her gift to Judi, and the other half in honor of her daughter, Judith Krupnick.
Marilyn is blessed with two children, Judith and Stephen, as well as granddaughters Melissa, Michelle, Sarah, and Meredith. When asked about why she decided to make a large commitment to JFCS, she explains, "I made this gift because I know there is a need, I enjoy helping people, and it is my pleasure to do things for others."
