Vocational Support Groups

JFCS offers two free support groups for unemployed and underemployed individuals.  The Back to Work support group is available several times throughout the year and the Job Support Networking group is an ongoing group that meets once a month.  

Back to Work

Back to Work is a 10-week group for the unemployed and underemployed.  An employment services professional addresses the practical aspects of seeking employment, including interviewing skills, resume writing, and networking; while a social worker offers coping skills and other practical methods to reduce stress and worry.

There is no fee for this group, but pre-registration is required.  Check our event calendar for upcoming dates.  

Job Support Networking

The Job Support Networking group meets the second Tuesday of every month and provides ongoing support for unemployed or underemployed individuals, encouraging them to help one another by sharing job leads and contacts for potential employment.

There is no fee or pre-registration required for this group.  Check our event calendar for upcoming dates.
