Cancer Support Program
Yad b'Yad Breast Cancer Support Program
The Yad b'Yad (Hand in Hand) Breast Cancer Support Program connects newly diagnosed patients with resources to help them navigate throughout their diagnosis and recovery period. Whether it be by helping a woman with her needs surrounding hair loss or connecting a newly diagnosed patient with a volunteer breast cancer survivor, Yad b'Yad can help. This hands-on program supports individuals and families while educating them about breast health. Additionally, Yad b'Yad connects uninsured and under-insured women to mammography screening.
Support for Newly Diagnosed Patients
Newly diagnosed patients are connected to the resources that meet their specific needs. This might mean pairing a newly diagnosed woman with a volunteer breast cancer survivor who understands what she is going through because she has experienced it herself. Or it might mean referring a woman to a local support group.
Cancer Connection
The Cancer Connection program provides resources and support to individuals and families who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis of any type.
