Samost Jewish Family & Children's Service:

• Job Coach:  Part-time position available beginning September 2010.  Assist young adults with special needs achieve success in the workplace.  Approximately 21 hours per week.  Individual should be patient, compassionate, demonstrate good problem solving skills and have the ability to work independently.  Valid driver's license and adequate car insurance essential.  BS in psychology, sociology, education, or related field required or HS diploma with experience in the field.  If interested, please call Barbara at 856-424-1333, ext. 182, or email resume to specialneeds@jfedsnj.org.  EOE.

Support Groups

This 10-week group is for the unemployed and underemployed. An employment services professional addresses the practical aspects of seeking employment, including interviewing skills, resume writing, and networking; while a social worker offers coping skills and other practical methods to reduce stress and worry.

Job Support Networking

This group meets the second Tuesday of every month and provides ongoing support for unemployed or underemployed individuals, encouraging them to help one another by sharing job leads and contacts for potential employment.
